arrangement 的用法

1. 表示“安排”、“準備”，注意以下用法：

①通常為可數名詞。如：

I’m satisfied with your arrangements. 我對你的安排很滿意。

We could make an arrangement to meet at10 o’clock. 我們可以安排在10點鐘見面。

We have finished allthe arrangements for the party. 我們已完成了晚會的所有準備工作。

有時也用作不可數名詞。如：

The price of the house is a matterof arrangement. 此屋的價格可以商量決定。

②用于短語 make arrangements(作安排)，注意其后的有用搭配。如：

They are making arrangements for the party. 他們在為晚會作準備。

Let’s make arrangements for getting there on time. 我們安排一下要準時趕到那兒。

I have to make arrangements to takeyou to Paris. 我得安排一下把你帶到巴黎去。

I’ll make arrange-ments for someone to meet you at the station. 我將安排一個人去車站接你。

We made arrangements with him to meet in a week. 我們和他約好一周后見面。

2. 表示“排列”、“整理”，若指排列或整理的動作(the act ofputting into or of being putting into order)，則為不可數名詞；若指排列或整理的結果(something that has been put in order)，則通常為可數名詞。如：

He suggested arrangement by subject. 他建議按學科排列。

That’s a beautiful flower arrangement. 那花排列很美。
