(1) 在底部。如：

There’s a hole at the bottom of the flower pot. 花盆底部有個洞。

注：有時根據一定的語境也可用介詞 on, in 等。如：

There is some tea left in [at, on] the bottom of the cup. 有些茶葉留在茶杯底部。

(2) 在遠處，在盡頭。如：

The hospital is at the bottom of the street. 醫院在街的盡頭。

We grow vegetables at the bottom of our garden. 我們在花園的盡頭種蔬菜。

(3) 在最后。如：

(4) 是……的根本原因。如：
